Another Statue of Riel

located in St. Boniface (east Winnipeg, Manitoba)

This is not Louis Riel.

At the front of the Provincial Legislature building in Winnipeg, you find
this fairly small (almost life size) statue of Queen Victoria. Riel's larger statue (which is in the other file) is at the back of the building. The statue below is located on the east side of Winnipeg.

This modern, impressionistic (not realistic) statue depicts the emotions
of Louis Riel and shows him without any clothes on.
